Mai Javier is a Filipino-Chinese illustrator based in the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Mai often loves to create illustrations that captures a moment using colour and light. Currently painting away as a background artist in animation, their projects include: Star Trek: Lower Decks, DIGMAN!, Everybody Still Hates Chris, Haunted Hotel and KEVIN. 

 

Outside of work, Mai loves to cafe hop around town and explore new hobbies or activities.
